Author Lizzy LeePosted on April 1, 2017October 21, 2017

Sometimes, I just don’t understand
But, underneath it all, I’m not sure
If we are truly meant to understand

About

“You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.”

– Ray Bradbury

Je suis moi. I have a useless degree in Creative Writing and work in the electronics department at a major retail chain. Two kitties are my entire world; one sits on my lap, the other rests in my heart. Those I hold dear helped me get to where I am now, and my parents are my rocks.

Writing is my passion, though I believe I’m mediocre at best. There are a few pieces that I’m proud of, but there are a lot that I re-read to remind myself of how far I’ve come. It helps me to understand my life, sort through the pieces that haunt me, and push me to grow, learn, heal.

My writing may not be perfect, but it sure is cheaper than therapy and alcohol.
